Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 57: Will Allu Arjun’s Film Surpass Baahubali 2?

As Pushpa 2: The Rule approaches the end of its eighth week in theaters, the Telugu action thriller remains just shy of surpassing Baahubali 2 to become the second-highest-grossing Indian film worldwide.
Pushpa 2 Global Box Office Performance
The Allu Arjun-starrer has amassed a staggering ₹1740.95 crore worldwide, but it still needs approximately ₹50 crore more to overtake Baahubali 2, which grossed ₹1790 crore globally. While Pushpa 2 has broken multiple records, Aamir Khan’s Dangal remains untouched at the top with a lifetime collection of ₹2070 crore.
To boost earnings, the filmmakers released a 20-minute extended cut on January 17, following their previous box office update on January 6. However, despite this move, Pushpa 2 has struggled to maintain its box office momentum.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film—made on a massive budget of ₹400–500 crore—has recorded an impressive box office run.
Worldwide Gross Collection: ₹1740.95 crore
Overseas Collection: ₹271 crore
India Gross Collection: ₹1469.95 crore
India Net Collection: ₹1233.27 crore
Despite its strong performance, the movie is ₹100 crore short of what the makers previously claimed on January 6. Given the current earnings trend, Pushpa 2 is unlikely to surpass the ₹1800 crore milestone in worldwide collections.

On Day 57 (Thursday), Pushpa 2 earned an estimated ₹12 lakh at the domestic box office, continuing its slow but steady run.
Pushpa 2 OTT Release on Netflix
The record-breaking blockbuster is now available for streaming on Netflix, where it has received a strong response from the OTT audience. The film is available in four languages and includes an additional 23 minutes of unseen footage.
With a runtime ranging from 200 to 224 minutes, Pushpa 2 stands among the longest Indian films ever made. The star-studded cast features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, and lead actor Allu Arjun.
